Getting Real
I gave a seminar yesterday to twenty-two fabulous women at Curves at Oregon City. The topic was "When Life Throws You a Curve Ball" How to navigate through change and make successful transitions. Because we are women, the conversations turned to relationships and how sometimes we are in one place, and our significant other, children, friends, or extended family members are in a totally different place. Which, at first blush, doesn't seem that big a deal. Right? Well, the problem arises when we have grown and changed and others around us want us to get back to "normal". Normal usually means get back to that place where others were comfortable with us, when we didn't know how to stand up for ourselves, set healthy boundaries, and just say no to things that aren't right for us. Can you relate? Let's talk about how to be authentic when resistance is all around. Let's Talk!! Love, Coach Diane

losing a pet
Now that spring is here the dog parks are full of people with their furry friends, and I am missing mine. After ten years of unconditional faith, love and loyalty Lacey died while I was out of town on vacation. One of the exciting things about returning from a trip used to be seeing her wagging tail and excited romp dance she'd perform out of sheer ecstacy to see me return. But, she was gone. Weigh in and tell me about a pet you've lost. Lets commemorate their love and devotion and keep their memory alive here. Losing a pet is one of the more difficult transitions. Love, Diane

Transition into Renewal
As we transition from the sluggishness of winter into the promise of renewal through spring, many of us will be experiencing other transitions as well. Some of you have released key relationships from your lives, others have lost or changed careers. Maybe you’re a new mom entering the work force. One thing is sure, all of us are experiencing some kind of transition, even if it is merely seasonal. The launch of this blog is an opportunity for you to share your transition experiences. Let us help each other. What are you going through? Coach Diane will be here to offer support and insights. Let’s Talk!
